12th
April 2001 will be the focus of a series of art based events to celebrate
and question the idea of the future, space, and 21st century life. Some events
will happen on a spontaneous self-generated basis and some will be part of
a programme. The
space age happened in the living rooms, television studios and school playgrounds
of the world at least as much as in outer space and in white-coated laboratories.
