Atom Town: artworks and writing about people places and technology by Gair Dunlop

This porcelain plant marker is a memento vivae  for Lothar Baumgarten.

I decided to made this to commemorate the significance of his RBGE exhibition, "Conservatory". The installation evoked humour, tragedy, but above all spaciousness.

This work changed my practice and way of thinking.

As this marker is made from porcelain, it is frostproof and fully garden-hardy. Available from Peter Foolen Editions, Eindhoven.
